Strange Toilet Signs

Hello Everyone,

After spending time last week looking up odd toilet, and their were some beauties,
I have spent this week looking up strange toilet signs.
Here are some of my faves...

For those of us who haven't come accross a Western style toilet before: Some clear instructions on how to use a toilet properly.

A suggestion of how to hold yourself when waiting in line for the toilet.

And my favourite. A sign found at a nature reserve in America.

Jane saw alot of similar signs when she visited Cape Cod in America.

In her book 'We all need to go' She reminisses:

"I stopped and went for one of the scenic walks in the beautiful park and the inevitable happened - I needed to have a pee. Whe the feeling became urgent and physically painful. I had to find some foliage to hide in while I blissfully relieved myself."

Toilet Oddities

Hey Everyone,

I was looking around on the net today. And (I know this is weird, but forgive me) I was searching images of Odd toilets. I wanted to share some of my favorites.







This is a house, a real house – can you imagine the comments you would get if you lived here, particularly if you were giving directions to get there.
“Turn right on foots road, left onto cherry pickle street and follow that all the way down till you see a large toilet. That’s my house…”

This giant toilet was found covered by a tarp on a Highway in America.
The deputy who found it is quoted as saying: “Holy crap, it’s a giant toilet!” Which makes sense. The toilet was brought to Seattle for a race. It was stolen along with the truck it was sitting on.It would be pretty funny to have seen the deputies face when she uncovered the giant toilet!








Lastly here is a restraunt where you not only sit on toilets, but you eat from them too!

About the Book
We All Need To Go is a humorous book about the Author Jane McIvor’s comments on public and private toilets as she travels around Australia and the World. ‘We all need to go’ is filled with hilarious stories about odd bathroom habits and rest rooms she has visited. The book also includes a brief history of some of the biggest toilet developments and ancient bathroom customs.

About the Author
Jane McIvor was born in London and has travelled widely. She is a graduate of the Australian National University and the University of Canberra.
Jane now lives in Canberra, Australia with her husband Cyril, several wild possums and her cats, Junior, Scampey and Mother Cat. Apart from travelling, Jane’s hobbies include gardening and watching movies.
